Paypal Verification Failed!

My Credit card has been disabled for entry into the Paypal system.

Now, my question is: How can I enable my credit card? I have already raised this issue to the Paypal tech support staff, and I received responses. However, their responses were far far from the “question” being asked. In my letter, I stated clearly what happened after entering the credit card number for “Paypal Verification”.

I would like also to ask your help and suggestions regarding this issue, just a thought (just maybe) you have also encountered the same problem as I have right now. But first, let’s check the problem in details.

Here’s the steps I did: (This was before my card disabled by the Paypal System)

1. I clicked on the “Status: Philippine - Unverified (0)” link, and the page for selecting card type, adding card number, expiration date and the 3-digit Card verification number displays.

2. A confirmation email received, and informed me that the “4-digit expanded number” will be sent on my account then, and to “add” the 4-digit expanded to complete the process for account verification! As a verified member, the sending and withdrawal amount will be lifted UNLIKE with the unverified user which only allows $100 sending amount per month. On the email sent with subject line “Enter your Expanded Use Number“, I have noticed that there’s a 4-digit number “xxxxxx0384“, so I tried to add the number by clicking the link (https://www.paypal.com/it/MEM-NUMBER) pointing to the 4-digit expanded number adding page. I attempted more than 3 times, but nothing happens! So, I leaved and waited thinking that maybe it requires number of day before it verifies.

3. I asked a friend who is a verified Paypal user, and she told me that I have to call the customer service of my card provider which is the UNION Bank of the Philippines, to ask for an activation code and the “4-digit expanded number“, however their line was busy always…so, I decided to email them using my EON account online. And, within that day, less than an hour after submitting the “4-digit expanded number email request” a reply received with my “4-digit expanded number”, so the 4-digit number I inputted last time was incorrect then.

4. I visited my Paypal account, and I can no longer see the link for the “4-digit adding page” which was visible on my “To Do List” on the Paypal Overview once you’ve logged in. Now it’s gone! I checked my inbox, and clicked the LINK (https://www.paypal.com/it/MEM-NUMBER) they (Paypal) provided BUT the LINK redirects to the “Add a card number” page.

And so, no choice…

I have added again my card number, expiration date and the 3-digit verification code or the last 3-digit number of your card at the back of it. And I was shocked after hitting the Save and Continue button….an Error Message displays:

This card has been disabled for entry into the PayPal system. Please add a different card. You may also contact us using this form.

Like what I said earlier, I already informed the Paypal support but none of them responded with an answer to my problem. Guys, if you have an experienced about this issue/problem, please advice me. Thanks. With an unverified Paypal account, I can’t claim my SEOContest2008 Prize. (That’s if I win the SEO Contest 2008). Lolz

The 6th message help sent to the Paypal support, and hoping this time…they’ll have already an answer to my question. While waiting for their reply, I have decided to “register” a new EON account online.
