Link Exchange!
If you are a Link builder, SEO specialist, SEOptimizer (web marketer/blogger) , I’m sure you are familiar with link exchange campaign (I assumed), this is the basic knowledge in optimizing a website. If you know (I assumed again) there are two factors of optimizing a website - the on-page optimization and an off-page optimization. But I will not discuss it here, right now.
So, back to link exchange.
There are two possible ways of doing the link exchange campaign - (1) Online Submission, and (2) via Email request.
Online Submission - The process is very simple, you’ll just need to fill up a form on the page of the site you are about to contact and then, after filling up the required information such as - your website URL, Title, Description, Contact person, Email Address and the Reciprocal Link URL, hit the submit button…and you’re done!
*Note: This is an example of a reciprocal link exchange form, you’re required to “add” their link before submitting the request. However, there are options where you can choose from a one-way request, without providing a “back link”. (mostly available on directories)
Email Request - Sending the webmaster/owner of the website that you are willing for a link exchange. It would be better to use a customized email link request, don’t use automated software in contacting webmasters.
Link Exchange Request: Denied or Approved! There are many possible reasons why your request was not accepted. And maybe you have already encountered these reasons:
1. I want my link to be added on the page with PageRank 3 or higher, or link page must be indexed by Google.
2. Your link is irrelevant to my theme.
3. You have more than 50 outbound links.
Those are the most common reasons I’ve encountered in doing link exchange requests, not to mentioned the error forms and not working email addresses. Made me sick!
Here’s another one.
4. I don’t want to link to your site because your website is too boring. (just made up!, Lol)
So, why do we do link exchange? I think there are many possible answers, and here’s my opinion: It’s an advantage, it helps your search engine ranking position, visibility, link popularity and of course your readership. And the disadvantage is that, readers may not continue reading and leave your website/blog completely by clicking the links on the article/post.
Before doing the link exchange campaign, just make sure that you have read and understand the criteria/guidelines set by the webmaster.
So, are you interested linking to my blog?
Here’s my criteria: Add my blog first and then inform me with the “location of my link”, and only SEO related websites/blogs are accepted.
Just copy and paste the HTML code:
<a href=”http://seocontest2008.easysteps4u.com”>seocontest2008</a>
Thanks, just let me know when you have added my link.

Very well! Are you dudes agree with me? When I read it I was like: oh man!Sounds great! This is just what I was searching for! All is true, and checked, I’m sure.
Going out somewhere with friends is just as much lot of fun, as coming to this website. Always has something to laugh at, a lot of things to share with each other, and it’s much easier to make friends here, than anyone would think! I come to this website when I have problems, and always leave it in a good mood. It really helps a lot!
